This cottage has had a lot of tlc; removing modern materials and re-instating more appropriate traditional materials. Oak, lime mortar, stone flags. It has been a pleasure to be a part of that care. My work here is done.
After staring at the sea monster 'salt' for a while, it seemed only logical, to move it through 90 degrees and make a chalice.
It could just as easily be a 'salt' or 'pig', for use next to the cooker/stove, in the kitchen.
