Very nice! I recently rehabbed a snipes bill plane, but having no experience using them, I wasn't certain how to set up the iron. Should the side of the iron be a hairs width proud of the plane's side (like a rebate plane)? Or do you set it up so the side of the iron is perfectly flush with the side of the plane?
